April 17, 2015, Heather, Michael and Yogi Traveling Through Baltimore, Train Travelers, Hobos
Welcome to Heather, Michael, and Yogi. I met them in Baltimore April 17, 2015 at the local Aldi store. This group met in Louisiana and has been traveling together since the end of February 2015.
Heather, 30, from Missouri, been traveling since she was from 14, her mom was a traveler but not by train. She is married but separated. In my conversation with her she is a great young lady, but definitely a traveler.
Michael, 21, just started traveling in October 2014. He is from California. By the time I posted these pictures 9 days later, Michael as left the group for New York. Goes to show how the groups float in and out and change all the time.
Yogi, 23, from Columbia SC, he has been traveling for the last 3 years. The dog “Blaze Foley” belongs to Yogi. Both Yogi and Michael both played instruments – it was a great time listening to them.
Where do they sleep at night? Abandon buildings, tents during the summer, with other retired travelers who live permanently in Baltimore – basically, where they can. This group is much like the others, all (except Michael) have open warrants from around the U.S (trespassing, loitering, etc …) This group did come across the police in Covington, GA --- the Covington Police really didn’t know what to do with them so the cops asked “What do the police normally do with your guys?” – the response from them was “Let us go”
